Caution when using William Tompkins book “Selected by Extraterrestrials…”

Who is William Tompkins?

William “Bill” Tompkins is well-known as a whistle blower or truth-seeker among folks interested in advanced technologies, UFOs, ETs, and aliens.

As the folks at Wikipedia say about him… Uh… Well, he doesn’t have a wiki entry, which doesn’t make sense. Especially considering his credentials: he worked in secret programs with the US Navy, then later as an engineer and project manager with several major aerospace companies, and consulting for space bigwigs such as Hitler’s head rocket scientist (later the first President of NASA), Dr. Wernher von Braun.

Amazon has a fairly good summary of Tompkins’ life and work”

“Born in May 1923, Bill Tompkins is one of the few survivors of the “big war” who is still healthy*, married to the same girl Mary, and is willing to tell his story about what he really did during his aerospace life in the 40s, 50s and 60s that relate to aliens, NASA and secrets that now can be told.

Bill Tompkins was embedded in the world of secrecy as a teenager, when the Navy took his personal ship models out of a Hollywood department store because they showed the classified locations of the radars and gun emplacements. He was personally present at the “Battle of L.A.” when a thousand rounds of ammo were fired at UFOs, and one of the Nordic craft may have selected him to be their rep in the evolving aerospace race. This book is a partial autobiography about his life to the beginning of the 1970s including some of his early work for TRW.

Selected by the Navy prior to completing high school to be authorized for research work, he regularly visited classified Naval facilities during WWII until he was discharged in 1946. After working at North American Aviation and Northrop, he was hired by Douglas Aircraft Company in 1950, and when they found out about his involvement in classified work, was given a job as a to create design solutions as a draftsman with a peripheral assignment to work in a “think tank”. This work was partly controlled by the Navy personnel who used to work for James Forrestal, who was allegedly assassinated because he was going to publicly reveal what he knew about UFOs. Bill Tompkins was asked to conceive sketches of mile-long Naval interplanetary craft designs.

Later, as he became involved in the conventional aspects of the Saturn Program that later became the Apollo launch vehicle, his insight to system engineering resulted in his offering some critical suggestions personally to Dr. Wernher von Braun about ensuring more reliable checkout using the missiles in their vertical position and also some very efficient launch control concepts adopted by both NASA and the Air Force.

This story is peppered with very personal interactions with his co-workers and secretaries, some of whom the author believes to be Nordic aliens helping the “good guys” here on Earth. Towards the end of this volume of his autobiography, he sketches what he personally saw on TV when Armstrong was landing on the moon.”

No doubt Tompkins’ many adventures are stories that will be spoken of well into the future.

Tompkins’ Book

Toward the latter years of his life, Tompkins published his seminal book Selected by Extraterrestrials: My life in the top secret world of UFOs., think-tanks and Nordic secretaries.

I have read and fully enjoyed Tompkin’s book. I fully respect him and the many things he did, the trials he endured, the close calls, and the countless hours he toiled in designing secret space program spacecraft (with some of these craft spanning a length of 10 kilometers and more). I don’t doubt for an instant the seemingly fantastic stories he tells in his book.

With regard to Tompkins many adventures – as disclosure advocate Dr. Steven Greer has said,

“The truth is stranger than fiction.”

All told, I don’t doubt any of it.

When Red-Pilling a Newbie…

Taken from the phrase made popular from the first movie in the Matrix series starring Keanu Reeves, “red pilling” refers to the process of one “awakened” person disclosing to someone else the not-so-pleasant truths about the world as it was in its denser (3D) reality.

“Red-pill topics” cover the gamut, spanning from the corruption and undermining of politics, education, finance, military, religion, medicine, human well-being and self-development – literally everything. Because the breadth of this infiltration is so broad, so massive, the person being red-pilled (let’s call them a “student”) – if not stunned or frightened – may invariably question the fantastic scope of any red-pill topic. So, rather than having the student take everything they’re being told for granted, it’s helpful to have them look at documentation and testimony readily available online.

But… When discussing the existence of and the details regarding what is collectively called the “Secret Space Program” (SSP), I strongly suggest NOT having a brand new student read Tompkins’ book Selected by Extraterrestrials

I say this for at least three reasons.

Sometimes Overly Technical

In William Tompkins’ case, his specialty was in the highly technical development of spacecraft design, including advanced energy-based propulsion systems, and perhaps also weapons and payload delivery systems. While Tompkins’ book does endeavor in the more human aspects of his adventures, there are times when he gets into some really deep technical detail that will lose many readers, due to its sheer technical content.

Level of Editing

As one of the reviewers (M. Arthur) on Amazon wrote: “This book is very significant but hard to read. It is written as first-person narrative of the author’s career as an engineer and sytems [sic] designer deep within the black-budget world, and features a lot a “reconstructed” office conversation. The contents of the story are astounding, but Tompkins is much more gifted as an engineer than a writer, and the flow of events and speech is disjointed and contrived. Special jeers must be awarded the editors (there are two) for horrible proofreading and structuring; missing quotation marks, odd section heads, and poor formatting leaves the reader disoriented by conversations, and there’s little sense of chronology or direction in the story itself. That said, the story should be read and taken seriously (however weak a writer, Tompkins seems truthful); it will alter your reality.”

Credibility Suffers in the Presence of “Salacious” Content

Tompkins goes into detail on his many exploits, and no doubt he let us know that he sowed his wild oats.

Tompkins seems to observe some restraint when telling us about some of his (and other’s) more intimate encounters with extraterrestrial women known who were Nordics, and whose bodies were seemingly identical to those of humans. But, the fact that he mentions intimate relations with them, and frequently mentions how incredibly sexually attractive his female ET secretaries are – I feel this will detract significantly from the credible stories a freshly red-pilled student seeks when seriously trying to wrap their head around the possibility of the existence of aliens.

Summary

Again, I’m not saying at all that I doubt any of what Tompkins says. This is not what’s at debate here. The point is: Because of some some serious editing issues, the occasional intrusion of highly technical content, all juxtaposed with frequent (and some detailed) mention of sexual attraction or relations with aliens – all these factors may make it difficult for a newbie to take seriously any issue Bill Tompkins discusses.

Instead, Try This

Instead of directing the student to read his book, I suggest instead to have folks watch the videos of the many interviews William Tompkins gave in the latter part of his life. His conduct is utterly professional, positive, and fully engaging. Aside from this, once can tell from his demeanor and tone of voice that he is utterly in-earnest about sharing what he knows, as well as his wonderfully precise recall of specific events and the most technical of details of hos work despite his seemingly advanced age.

In lieu of his book, use Tompkins’ interview videos – along with the emerging corroborating testimonies from a growing number of other people. All of these provide credible and palpable information regarding the existence of other ET races, their technologies, and the jaw-dropping story of a secret space programs run by humans working for profiteering corporations in collusion with both friendly and malevolent extraterrestrial races.
